Many of these athletes look as though they could step onto a bodybuilding stage "contest ready" and wipe the floor with the actual bodybuilders there, all without having to diet down for months on end, or doing endless bouts of cardio! They just look great every month of the year.

MET is the strategic combination of functional training movements with traditional bodybuilding training methods to induce hypertrophy, build muscle, burn fat, and increase your metabolism. Scott's been using it with his coaching clients for over a decade now. It's often used in conjunction with Scott's Cycle Diet approach for staying lean year round while gaining muscle.

Whether you're looking for conditioning, muscle growth, training for a fast metabolism or just a workout to help you get abs, Metabolic Enhancement Training can help by introducing new totally training stimuli and movements into your current regimen.

This booklet is an introduction to MET, with a full and complete 4-day program, plus a "figure" variation.

Included are two 4-Day MET Hybrid Programs, consisting of various sets of quad-plexes. These are training circuits where you do the first set of exercise A, B, C, and D one after the other before taking a rest, then you go on to your second set. However, with both variations of these circuit training programs, there are specific guidelines to build up to the full four exercises over a few weeks, and then to taper down again at the end of the program. (For example, you start with just doing exercises A and B in the first week.) Both versions are good for the whole body, though the figure variation was designed for female figure competitors, so there's a bit more emphasis on glutes, capped shoulders, and that kind of thing.

In these particular programs, if you want you also have full choice of exercises, so for example, for exercise A you can choose "any compound chest movement" or something. There is a list of exercises you can pick and choose. Also included are versions of both programs with all the exercises chosen for you, just in case you're not sure or are just getting started with this kind of circuit training.

Two Thumbs Up for Coach Abel's MET!

I've trained under Coach Scott Abel for close to 5 years now. Prior to training with Coach Abel, I had competed in all-natural bodybuilding for over 7 years. I had always trained as a typical bodybuilder and spent at least an hour training followed by at least 30 minutes of cardio. Coach introduced me to Metabolic Training, and it transformed my workouts and my physique. I cut my time in the gym in half and basically eliminated steady state cardio. The result was a leaner, more muscular physique. And, the workouts are fun! I highly recommend Coach Abel's MET training protocol.

Anyone who's interested in advancened exercise programming techniques... or anyone who wants to shake up their training approach... should check this out.

The detailed guidance on the proper application of the included workout programs is invaluable.

This is an excellent resource for anyone who's into fitness.

Scott does it again!!!

I found Scott after a desperate prayer as I was so fed up of being taken for several wild rides with physical trainers who just didn't help me much. I guess when they meet a woman over 40 they aren't that enthusiastic.

I read Scott's Ab book in Amazon and I knew I needed much more so I went to his website and there was the program I needed. Ultimate Figure geared to women! I couldn't believe my luck but after 5 weeks I am excited, empowered, and I am crazy enthusiastic about the results I am getting inside out. If you are serious, you care about your health, want to look good and feel wonderful again and you are willing to do what it takes and learn new interesting ways to work out, then this is your program. I very highly recommend this program. To date this is the BEST investment I have made.

In the Ultimate Figure Program, Scott uses Tracy a mother of 2 to walk you through each exercise. The first day I almost thought I would die but I got through 6 exercises. How my body felt was amazing. This led me to continue. Week 2 I finally felt my butt muscles talking! Never happened before, I didn't even know I had muscles there being blessed with a big asset! I went down 23 inches in week 4 and my waist is down 10 inches which hasn't happened before except when I starved myself for 10 days and was almost hospitalized.

Scott is a very generous man sharing so much information on his website. It's why I invested because he truly cares and he knows what it takes to succeed in fitness and the war against obesity. I have bought his other books which I also highly recommend. Thanks so much Scott. -Rose
